The folding anchor, also known as a grapnel or umbrella anchor, weighs 2,5 kg and is an excellent solution as a secondary anchor for sailboats and as a primary anchor for rowboats. Its design allows it to hold well in muddy bottoms rich in seaweed. When folded, its compact dimensions make it extremely practical, especially when anchoring from the bow and stern. The anchor is cast from iron and additionally protected against corrosion with a layer of zinc applied by a hot-dip method, ensuring its longevity and reliability.
